The appointment of Full Time volunteer is in the wake of a shocking revelation that we encountered during our field work between June and July 2009. We discovered 2 patches of about ½ a square kilometer area each in the midst of Rajendra Nagar Mandal which had about 70 - 80 children each who are not being sent to schools or asked to drop out by parents/ guardians due to various economical and social reasons. We are not able to visit all the slums on a continuous basis as we are employed for our survival and work only part time on field during weekends. This appointment is allowing us to reach out to these slums and come up with live and realistic data from day to day visits to each slum. The data of inflow is staggering and allows us to predict we will have close to 5000 children by this year end that will have to be supported.
